CristolBrite® and GoreSil®

Cristobalite is a high temperature polymorph of silica that occurs rarely in nature. It is manufactured through a proprietary solid state, high temperature process to create a useable form. CristolBrite and Gore cristobalite possess a combination of properties and characteristics uniquely suited for application as functional fillers. Our Cristobalite, GoreSil and CristolBrite are synthesized from high purity quartz using a solid state, high heat manufacturing process that yields a consistently high conversion and a high purity. C.E.D. uses no additives (mineralizers) in the manufacture of these products.
